Oh Drat!

Fresh Organic Baby Food Best for Baby

The doctor said its time for the boys to put their new teeth to use. They get to eat solid foods. Blast. I hate that. The ease of breastfeeding is something I really love. No mess getting smeared into their hair and eyes. No extra cost at the grocery store. No repeatedly shoveling the same spoonful of cereal into the baby's mouth until they actually figure out how to swallow it.

But now I have to break out the rice cereal and then introduce the rest of the million flavors in the world one at a time. A new adventure. Times two. And to think I just got used to nursing them at the same time.

If Maggie is anything like my two-year-old, she will be more than happy to help with the feeding.

drat is right! I felt the same way. Breastfeeding was just so easy (I'm sure it's tougher with two!!) Good luck with all the learning, I'd offer to come and clean all the rice cereal off your floor if I was close enough! :)

First of all, I love the pic you posted. Hilarious. I always thought they ought to make some kind of enormous pad of plastic (like a pad of paper, only made from plastic) to put under high chairs for the whole phase you're about to enter--then you just rip off a sheet after every feeding/snack. Anyway, best of luck! :)

Well at least Dan can do the feedings now too. I felt the same way, minus the x2 part. You make me smile!! I love you Megs!

Yes, definitely. Feeding solids was my least favorite. We always shared bowls and spoons with our babies. We just decided if we were gonna have one of them sick we might as well have the other as well. Even then it was laborious work. Good Luck!

I've always hated rice cereal. You think you have it all washed off their faces and then when you are out and about in public it is then that you notice all of the crusty's still lingering smeared all over in a nice shiny glaze. It doesn't wash off, it just spreads.
