Wish I had a "before" picture, but I don't. Just know it was brown and ugly and now it's turquoise and spunky. My husband is so cool. Spray painting lamps is our new favorite hobby.
*For those of you not from around here, D.I. (Deseret Industries) is the Mormon version of Salvation Army Stores. Its where we donate our junk and then buy other people's junk--a viscous cycle, but a cycle we love.

That's awesome!! It reminds me of when my darling was delivering pizza when we were first married, and he saw an ORANGE couch (bright, bright orange) by the side of the road with a bunch of stuff labeled . . . you guessed it--DI.
Timothy knocked on the door and asked if he could have it for his crazy wife. The lady made us pay her $20 (go figure) and I have LOVED that couch ever since.
That's great. I love it when you can rescue something from the D.I. pile and make it new again.
WOW. I love the way that looks! I love how it totally fits into your house. And I love you.
G's mother used to spray paint EVERYTHING gold. Every single thing. Pears. Lamps. Plastic grapes. Amazing. Turquoise is a better choice.
Cool lamp! When my SM and I were first married we had some uuuugly lamps. This was when the spray pain had just came out that makes things look like marble or has clumpy stuff in it to make it all textury. We had to try the new stuff out so we took those lamps and spray painted the heck out of them. Used them for years and only just about a year ago decided to share the love and send them onto DI.
Love it...it is totally you!
dang cute!
