With the addition of a $1.95 can of pink spray paint, a $2 lamp harp and a $12.95 lamp shade we came up with this (now if you work for the Antique's Roadshow, please don't call us and tell us that we just ruined a national treasure, we were nervous about that after Dan's dad told us that a real live licensed interior decorator had picked out that Italian lamp for Grandpa's house):
And since I neglected to put up pictures after we moved Maggie to a big girl bed and made over her space for her birthday, here's some more to look at :

I love the room so much. It's so girly and cute, yet so Maggie. And I think you did the world a service by making over the lamp, and now it's cool!
Well done... I won't tell anyone about the lamp shade :). Did you make Maggies name on the banner? I want to make something like that for Jackson and Lucy.
I agree w/Ginna- very Maggie! and Very cute and trendy! Love it!
That is one awesome lamp, my dear.
oh man, that is so dang cute, I LOVE the shelf...all those cute things on it, and the lamp, how smart! it looks fantastic!
Don't let Kirsten see Mag's room. She has to share with Levi the tear apart demon from you know where. Nothing is safe in this house and all of the girly stuff Kirsten had in her room at to be put away or thrown away which was the case because Levi had gotten ahold of it.
I LOVE spray paint. For years I had a hanging lamp in my front room and hated it. Just hated it. My sister suggested I spray paint it black and put on cute little lamp shades and now I love it! Amazing what a can of spray paint can do. Hey, I wonder if I can find some human spray paint!
