Mutiny

There is nothing more adorable, cozy, and downright heartwarming than a swaddled baby. Nothing. I defy you to even come up with one thing. Naked baby is close. But swaddled baby wins. And there is no trick up my sleeve that can calm my babies faster than a Double Wrap Hinckley Special Swaddle.

Until yesterday. Little Squirmy Will has learned to somehow slide right out of the blankets leaving them still rolled by his side. That is talent. And the end of the swaddling era. I hate when that happens. I'd still swaddle Maggie if she's let me.

Heck, I think I'd like to be swaddled. Have you seen the weather outside!?

I can't believe how big your babies are getting. Will I get to see them (and you!) while I'm here?!

I so agree with this, I hated the day when both my kids didnt do the swaddle anymore! So sad. And as far as you wanting to be swaddled....we did swaddle Scoty awhile ago, it was hilarious....he tried to walk around and get up, and we laughed and laughed and laughed....then....wait for it....Shon found the biggest blanket he could and swaddled me! haha...it was hard to get out of!

Those jammies are so cute!

I am a swaddler as well. I love to swaddle my babies and then I beat them to death on their wittle bums. Why is that? Automatically the hand starts a beatin' away.....spank spank spank spank

Yeah, the end of swaddling is indeed a sad day. Their utter cuteness should console you, though.

You know, I never knew about swaddling. Where was I when the swaddling lesson happened? Anyway, the boys are SO cute. I love that picture of them.

Ginna didn't learn it from me. I actually learned it from Lorri. And I'm with you. If somebody would just swaddle me, I'd know when it was ACTUALLY OKAY NOT TO BE CLEANING THINGS and PAYING BILLS, and doing genealogy and reworking next year's hymn list - I mean, if you're swaddled, you have to lie on your back and you can't move your arms right? Right? Please?
