House

We're still piecing the place together, but this is what we've got so far:

Front room--sweet new couches from Down East Home and an old school map from the Davis School District Warehouse Sale.

A semi-clean kitchen
No view of the dining room because we're using a mighty-light table and metal folding chairs. Like I said, we're piecing this together.

Dan hung the window and decided on the placement. He's turning into "Mr. Interior Design." I didn't know men were supposed to have opinions about stuff like this.

A view up the stairs.

Family Room--painted a lovely "Spiney Sea-Urchin" green. Love the color.

Your house looks fantastic Megs. But I wouldn't expect anything less. Someday when we actually have some money, I'm going to hire you and buy some cool stuff.

I love it! It's amazing how much of an opinion some husbands have about home decor. I had no idea until I married Jeremy! :) I guess it's a good thing, right?

megan that's adorable! I REALLY love how you hung the map...it looks just the way it's supposed to be seen. I think the great thing about art and the hanging thereof is when it stands on it's own and you nailed it with that. same goes for Dan's window...it looks like a window. brilliant!

Your house looks great, Megan. It looks great on the surface, that is. But as you know, food-borne illness can be lurking beneath the loveliest of exteriors. Don't let it rear its ugly head! Remember: keep food below 40 or over 140!

It really looks like you're having fun!
