Triplets
We stopped by the park today on our way home from the library (trying out new theory: if we're not home, we won't make it messy). And while the kids were climbing around I saw a woman with a throng of small children. I thought to myself, "She must be watching some of her neighbor kids, too."
Then she came over to me and asked me about my twins. She said "I have identical twins, too. And they have a sister, so they're triplets."
Triplets! Can you imagine? They were 2. And then there was a big brother who was 4.
The first thing I said was, "Did you even leave the house when they were babies?" She laughed and said, "No. And now the only place I can go is Costco." A kindred spirit.
I don't know how she handles even more babies than I've got. Bless her. Maybe it will help to keep her in mind while my kids are stomping on ritz crackers in the kitchen, because she has even more cracker stompers than I do.

Ha! Listen to this! There is a girl in my ward. She has a daughter that's 4(ish), a set of 3 year old triplets, and just had newborn twins a few months ago!! What the!!!!!!????????!?!?!?!?!!??!?!
Needless to say I haven't seen her around for a while. Could you imagine?!
a single child is hard...I applaud you good mothers!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. It takes a special kind of person (angel) to be a mom to twins/triplets. I'm so glad you found a kindred spirit!!! (And I like your idea of getting out of the house so it stays clean for longer. Good thought.)
And JWise is so right. About everything she said. Great theory (I could use it with the puppies). And you're doing an amazing job. Even though it makes you want to tear your hair out and lock yourself into the bathroom. A GREAT job.
I remember taking care of a set of triplets years ago. They had another set of twins, and another set of triplets as well. Can you imagine? If my memory serves, they were never on fertility treatments either.
Double triplets in one spot??? That is crazy cool.
I love the little things you write like the kids stomping on Ritz crackers in the kitchen. Things like that are truly snapshots of daily life!
I love the posts you write about your life. That you tell it like it is! Keep your head up :) We had friends with a 4 year old, 3 year old and then triplets. 5 under 5! Yikes. You people are amazing!
