I Love my City

We've been busy visiting 4-5 local parks a week lately. The kids love it. And I've been pushing the kids to these various parks in my {triple jogging stroller}.

We've climbed, slid, swung, and rolled. And I'm getting sad that my twins are getting too big to be stuffed into a baby swing together. They are seriously chunkin' it up in the gut department.

But one of the best parts of these adventures is the old people we meet on our walks. Our city is full of the most friendly and adorable senior citizens I've ever seen. I'm sure it has something to do with the 3 gorgeous children I'm pushing around, but they've all got some comment or joke or motivating cheer to share with me. Today my favorites were when 2 sweet old ladies saw me jog by and said "Oh good for you, honey!" and gave me thumbs up! And then an old man with a cane stopped and watched me push the kids out of the park and then he said "Well, that's a good way to use up some energy." And I said to him, "Sure is! But it's too bad it's using my energy and not theirs." Then he laughed so hard it made me feel like the wittiest person in all of Lehi. Maybe I am.

I wonder what park we'll end up at tomorrow.

LOVE the picture of the boys in the swing. That is so dang cute. I'm glad you are running into so many fine people at the park, too. You deserve that. I reminds me of older posts about insensitive jerks who say stupid things, so it's nice that you finally found where the COOL people hang in Lehi.

Well, you ARE pretty danged witty.

That picture of both in the swing makes them look a little like Siamese twins.

I swear I can't go 2 feet when I'm out without hearing "you've got you're hands full." I bet you get that a lot too. Although you do live in Utah where there are more insane people like us.

You seriously make my day! That comment made me laugh too! Good for you for getting out and enjoying the spring! I wish I could join you and your cute kiddos at the park one of these days!

As a former resident of Lehi, I have no doubt you are the wittiest. Wit is a rare commodity in the land of Nephi's father.

Hope you, Dan, and the kiddos are doing well. One of these days we should get up to Utah and get together again.

Aaron (and Adrianne, who is not present, but approves this message).
