If You Take A Mags to the Play...

She'll probably enjoy it.

And enjoy it she did. I've never even taken her to a movie or play before because I wasn't sure if she'd just try to come up with excuses to leave (like she does at church) or if she'd sit back and watch the thing. But, when my dad gave us some free tickets to see the Scera theatre's production of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" I thought, "What the heck--let's try it!"

I'm so glad we went! She laughed and squealed with delight over all the mouse's messes. And I enjoyed seeing the enormous kitchen they'd built for the set (which made the full grown man playing a small child seem like he really was a small child).

The production was darling. Too bad it's sold out for the rest of the showings. Maggie and I will have to check out the Scera's future children's theatre showings

That looks WONDERFUL!!! I would LOVE to take Ethan to that (and even Belinda--she's 9, but I bet she'd enjoy it)!! I'm so glad you & Mags had a good time. With little kids, it's hard to know what to get brave about and trying and what to just run screaming from before it even starts. So I'm glad this one was a keeper. :)

That would have been so cute! I'll have to check around, I don't think there is a children's production play company around here anywhere
