This morning I ran 3 miles. In succession. As in, I ran one mile, kept running, ran another one, kept running, and ran a 3rd one. I didn't even stop--not even at stop signs (no one was coming so chill out). It took me 34 minutes, which I don't think is super impressive, but heck! I ran.
Holy cats! Today I'm going to really sign up for the 4 mile race on Thanksgiving. I'm sure I'll be bringing up the rear, but I'll finish it. If I have to crawl, I'll finish it. And I'm getting me a t-shirt to prove it.
In other news, Maggie is a sexist. She brought me a toy this morning and said "Willman (of course that makes sense right? Cole-man, Will-man?) broke a my toy. My daddy fix it." I said, "I can fix it." And she looked at me very sternly and said "No. My daddy fix it." Even after I fixed it she acted like I'd really overstepped my bounds.
She obviously doesn't know that I ran 3 miles this morning. I'm on a roll. I think I could pretty much do anything.

Yay for you! You're awesome :)
I love that feeling!! That's how I felt about Race for the Cure! It sure feels good. I also love your picture. A friend gave me a card with that picture on it in medical school when life was kind of rough and I have it posted on my fridge for good reminders! ;-) Good luck doing the Turkey Trot,,,you are awesome!
It's official: Now that you can run 3 milesyou can now consider yourself a real runner. My litmus test is 3 miles. Congratulations. You're very tough. or tuff.
As far as sexist Maggie is concerned, I seem to recall a previous post where whenever a toy broke you would tell the little girl that she'd have to wait for her daddy to come to fix it. (I agree with this tactic. Avoidance is always my preferred form of parenting.)
Good luck, you are awesome! Keep up the good work!!
Wow, I'm seriously so impressed. I wish I was there running with you. Though I would for sure slow you down. But it would be fun.
3 miles?!! That's great! Love it, love it, love it!
Good for you!! I am impressed at heck at the 3 miles. You go, girl!

Good job, Megan!! And I think "chses" is an appropriate wv!!
Yay for you! That's certainly better than I can do at this point in my life :) And I'm glad that you are capable of fixing a toy too!
Mediocre at best megan...I'm totaly kidding, I just wanted all of your other friends to think I was a jerk. I'm seriously impressed at not only the running, but how I literaly laugh out loud at everything you post! You are way too funny and that's why I need to have another girls' night. Tag, you're it....so, in other words you get to plan it. (Carrie's rules)
I can't believe that Gin said that running three miles would be fun. I thought I brought her up better than that.
