Dear Bronco,

You and your boys were awesome. Truly awesome.

Love,
Me

p.s. The ESPN announcers were hilarious. My favorite moments: "Max Hall just mouthed 'oh my gosh' or whatever it is they say in Provo" (technically I think we would say something like "holy flip! heck! what we just done it! freakin' crap!") and "Provo is not an easy place to play in. It's not an easy place to get to either." Is Provo really that hard to get to? I mean, come on! you can't exactly get there by boat... but I think its doable any other way. Like maybe you could fly there? Or drive? Covered wagon? Handcart? Razor scooter? 16 passenger van?

I only saw the last few minutes - but it was pretty amazing. I thought it was so funny when the announcers were making their comments about BYU/PROVO - mentioning that Hall is one of 36 of the team players who are married...as if being married is an odd thing. And I loved the one about Provo being hard to get to - we've got developed roads now - all the way down the state...it shouldn't be too hard.

I want to know how Dan handled the game...

Dan actually enjoyed this game a lot! He figures a game like this makes our conference look good, and the better our conference looks, the better the Utes look. Actually he said the Utes will only look good if they win in November which I told him isn't likely. Sorry.

We thought that comment about Provo being hard to win in, but even HARDER to get to was hilarious too. I mean, where is this guy from? Did he maybe accidentally stumble into a pioneer reenactment last time he came? Anyway, definitely hard to win in Provo, not so hard to get there.

Yay cougars, and fat chance Dan, no way are we losing this season!!

LOL! I know! We thought that comment was hilarious too. That and the five hundred million times they mentioned, "The Heisman Trophy Winner........." Grief! Could they have said it any less?

Yeah - we used to have a Sat. dish - a real one, remember? that huge thing in the back yard. And we used to listen to raw feed for the games. We heard some mighty interesting complaining during what the network was showing the regular folks as commercial breaks - we got to overhear the open mic chatter instead. Lots of complaining about how you couldn't find a cup of coffee in Provo if you were dying . . .

Billy's family sounds smart, Holli. I would listen to them.

If ESPN thinks Provo is hard to get to, maybe that is why they never come. Maybe we should send them a map?
