Luck o' the Irish

As a family activity yesterday we made these St. Patty's Day cupcakes and took them around to some of our neighbors. Maggie was all over the doorbell ringing--but then she'd fall apart when people started talking to her.

Maggie's teacher at church, wasn't home, so we stuck the cupcakes that said "Maggie is lucky to have you as a teacher!" in her Suburban so the cats wouldn't get them. Hope she doesn't sit on them. Some people don't look before they sit you know, me being one of those people. Can't tell you the number of sunglasses I've ruined that way.

What a fantastic idea! I wanna do it next year! I have TONS of green food coloring that needs to be used. I used all the other colors in the box and have a full vile of green. Must not a be favorite with my family. Although I did make green pancakes this morning because I forgot to do it yesterday. My kids LOVED it!

Oh! And LET ME TELL YOU ALL!!!! THOSE WERE THE BEST CUPCAKES EVER!!! In Hyrum's words, "This is the best frosting I have ever tried!" Thanks so much! I feel so lucky to have YOU guys as neighbors!

Also as I have had a not so great day today, I would sneek over to the kitchen and indulge in a scruptious cupcake and it helped me get through a very exhausting day!

Mmmm, those look stinking delicious! Max is the same way when we try to visit people, he can't handle just saying hi and being polite. He wants to just run straight into their house and start going through their stuff!
