Will-dini

Remember when I was all upset about Will wiggling out of his swaddling blankets?

That was nothin'.

Now he can wiggle out of his blankets and his pajamas. Dan took this picture last night at midnight when the child was still screaming after an hour. Come to find out he was naked, and  freezing, and his screaming brother Coleman was cutting a new chomper (which reminds me, why do 6 month-olds think they need teeth anyway?). Willers had been wearing a pair of cozy zip up footed pajamas, leaving them with a rather stretched out neck.

Willdini--our own little Houdini

Someday I'd like to get a good night's sleep. Someday.

Look at the look on his face though! How can you be uspet? You can't.....and sleep......I'm still trying to find it. It is there isn't it?? ISN'T IT? I hope......

Sorry to laugh at your lack of sleep, Megan, but even you have to admit that THAT is funny! I'm sure I won't find it funny, though, when its MY kids doing the same thing. At that time, I give you full permission to laugh at me. Or my kids. Or both.

I love how in the pic you can see Will's perfectly swaddled blanket...

I love it! He has personality, and doesn't like jammies. Laira is 6 and loves to sleep in her underoos with a fleece blanket so that she can feel the soft all over. Its one of her quirks.

Love ya!

haha, that is So funny! I am sorry that they are teething, Ry Ry just got her bottom two, right before Christmas, and oh man...I could not imagine two! Wow....they are so cute!

oh my gosh, how did he DO that? I thought footie pajamas were escape proof, for real. That's amazing. Watch out when he starts climbing stuff.

Ok, way cute little Will-dini, and rats, you caught me. I'm a blog stalker. Jessica at Fringies linked me once to a post of yours about the ez 2 nurse pillow. It was, of course, hilarious. I immediately felt a kinship. I do read your blog often, I like the way your write, your sense of humor. It's also nice to see someone surviving twins.

I have you on my blogroll only for ease of accesibility but I would be glad to delete if you want me to. Oh and my word verification is ouack who happens to be one of the ducklings in the book, Make Way for Ducklings. How do you pronounce that anyway?

Yeah, this Will-dini act is definitely one for a team of highly trained forensics. I mean, how does a premie, not even six months old yet, manage to escape 2 swaddled blankets and footsie jammies, while leaving them in a completely undisturbed state? I don't think Houdini himself could pull that off. Wouldn't zip-up footsie jammies and 2 swaddled blankies be the Houdini equivalent of 2 straight jackets, heavy chains and handcuffs?

The ballistics team needs to come in too to tell us how his bink ended up six feet away from his mouth on the other side of the crib.

I blame all this on his mother. It must come from something she ate or drank on her mission because the real Houdini was born in Hungary.

Houdini's b-day was March 24!!!! That's your's!!!! There's something eerily creepy about these similarities. Maybe we should move to Hungary? Between magicians, vampires, beautiful buildings and communist statues, Hungary is a very enchanting place.

Hm. This kind of talent at six months, huh? I look forward to the many posts to come describing the amazing lad.

That is awesome! I love that you can see the still intact "swaddled blanket-ala pj's inside" Houdini indeed:) You're in trouble:)

Megs and Dan, what happens when he discovers that those little sticky tabs on his diapers are the secret to total freedom. God bless you. Oh, bless your good good souls.

Megs-
I do have two sets of twins. The older ones turned four one month after my boys were born. Crazy I know. Thanks for letting me lurk. You're doing great.
