It's Time

Remember how I like to get my haircut, but I'm terrible at getting around to it? Well, it's time. It's time to figure out what cut to get. I know who's gonna do it (Taylor, get ready...I'm calling you...sometime... I really am.)

Here's what I know:

I want to cut it off. Short.

I always choose haircuts because I actually want the model's face. Not really the hair. I realized this after several disappointing haircuts where I walked away thinking "I don't look like Sierra Miller with this haircut... Oh that's cause I don't look like her anyway. Darn."

Anyway, this time I think I want to look like Rihanna. Yeah, I know I'm not black. Or skinny. Or beautiful. Or rich. But whatever..."you can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, hey hey hey hey."

But this is just an idea, anybody got a better one? How do you choose a haircut?

Woa, daring, but hot. Who knows? Perhaps your inner Barbados goddess will come out with this hair. I say go for it.

that is a cute hair cute, i am like you though, i always see a cute hair cut, then get it, and then hate it, cause I dont look like the picture, my hair is too heavy and thick to be cute....but you, you are so cute, and I think anything will look great!, seriously!

Oh, I love her hair! You've got the bone structure for a short cut - rock it Megs! The only hesitation I have on haircuts like this is the maintenance. Is it still going to look cute when I don't want to do it 5 out of the 7 days in a week?

I struggle with this every time I get my haircut. Most the time I end up saying "trim please!" but honestly- that's not exciting. And there was once a time in my life where short hair didn't scare me- but now- YIKES! And then there's the one time where I had a cute cut and I brought in a picture of MYSELF and said "I want it like this!" and ended up looking like a Christmas Tree. Anyway- I think the pic you posted is cute, but I agree w/Tia- what about those days when you don't feel like doing it? But then again- it looks like it wouldn't be that hard to do. Good luck and post a pic after you get it cut! and this is the longest comment I've ever left. Happy reading! ha ha

It's cute! And it would be cute on you. But wouldn't those hairs sitting on top of your nose make ya nuts?

It would be very cute on you, but what isn't???? T think you should go shorter bangs though, I think that would drive you CRAZY!!! Just tell your stylist you want a short cut you don't have to mess with:) Throw some gel in and go:)

You are too beautiful! (I didn't know how to punctuate that. You are too! beautiful.) And when you sang spiderweb the other night, you really DID sound like Gwen Stefani. You should've been in a band for real in high school.

Megan.

for the love...do it, cut that Rihanna hair. I have found the world of an asymmetrical cut to be totally awesome. everything you're wearing looks cooler and there is something really awesome about feeling one part of your head practically shaved.

plus I agree with everyone saying you have the bone structure for it...and the sass.

and it's hair, it grows.

Tia- like a Christmas Tree? Head over heels, laughing on the floor. Thank you. I needed that.

Willeyes: a short cut you don't have to mess with? Is there such a thing?

I'm with your mom - let's see, you bend over, changing a diaper, and your hands get messy, and - whoa, your nose begins to itch . . .

yeah, it's all well and good to have hair like what's-her-face. If you have a hairdresser who lives in the servant's quarters like the rest of your posse. But I think your bedrooms are full of other kinds of people.

Short only stays short for about five minutes. Then you have to have it trimmed. Which costs you another eight (twenty eight? Fifty eight?) bucks. But hey - my grandmother made a ritual out of her weekly hair appointment.

Whatever you choose, there you are. Which is meant to mean - you are adorable. And to borrow a bit from Beth, I mean: you ARE adorable. Adorable is you. Do whatever you want with your hair, just stay Megs.

Me? I want to look JUST like that quiddich coach in the first Harry Potter movie - cut it short, streak the snarf out of it, gel it straight up in the air. but if I did that, people would say, "Hey - cool pink polka dots you got there."

Mom, I think it was Tiff who said the thing about the christmas tree!
Megs,
I like it. You're always the brave one. I'm way too wimpy to go that short. I think it would look good on you though, very good. And don't lose the bangs because they're part of what makes the whole cut so cool. That's what bobby pins are for. Just grab one before you have to lean over, right?
Go for it!!

Oh Nelly! Do you know what I'd look like with this cut? My hair is so curly it would look bad. Really really bad. I've tried to go short...I think short is sexy and this is definetly a sexy look which I do believe YOU could pull off so ya, I wanna see when you get it done ya sexy mamma you!

I don't have any haircut advice, but I do the same thing you do--I choose a hairdo because I would like to look like the model wearing it, but then somehow I still don't...
