Oh Sweet Solitude

Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple

Last night I went to the temple. I. Me. By myself. I don't remember the last time I went to the bathroom by myself, let alone spent 3 hours with no children or husband in the grown-up world (and not just Smith's grocery store or a quick Christmas shopping endeavor).

It was extremely nice. But in the end I realized I got lonely pretty fast. And when I got home you can bet I smothered my babies in kisses.

Being alone is nice, but being surrounded by babies and a super hot hubby is nicest.

we all need those little breaks to just breathe and then we can go home and enjoy it all over again! glad you got to go.

Every once in awhile my hubby will take the natives and leave me alone for the day to do what ever I want. Do you know what I do? I sit and pace looking out the window wasting the ENTIRE DAY waiting for them to get home. It's pathetic.......

Hey, I'm glad you got to do that! I always think there is something to be said for missing the little people and being missed. It's the best part of going away.

So cute Megs!! It's good to get a little breather every once in a while...but I agree it's so nice to come home...I think taking breaks helps us keep things in perspective...I know it does for me. Love Ya!

A break is nice. You need it and then when you get home-you just appreciate your chaos all the more:)
