I absolutely loved him! I am so sad he passed away. What a wonderul life, what amazing talks he always gave and what a sweet spirit and disposition he always had. I will miss hearing him. His talk last year in the Sat afternoon session was one of my favorites. Thanks for the tribute:)
Who can ever forget 'Sunday Will Come." It was so inspired and inspiring, and riveting to watch him deliver that powerful sermon. Now, for him, in a way, Sunday has come because he is with his beloved wife again.
I was listening to Elder Jeffrey R. Holland's talk from general conference a few days before Elder Wirthlin passed away. Its interesting because he makes a comment about Elder Wirthlin at the beginning of his talk that caused me to wonder if Elder Wirthlin would pass away soon. If you get a chance, read or listen to Elder Holland opening remarks and you will see what Im talking about! Those bretheren must be so close. Yes he will be missed greatly!

Amen!
I cried.
Now who's going to be my favorite apostle?
Probably Uchtdorf. I can't get over his hair.
I loved him, too!
He's one of my favorite too! Why does everyone have to get old and die?;)
Steady and sure. That was Elder Wirthlin. And he was so wonderful at lovingly encouraging us to be the same.
