Deck the Halls

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house. Finally! I felt like it took me forever this year to get decorated (probably because I have 1 little un-decorator and 2 little distractors underfoot).

Dan bought this Christmas train on Black Friday. He loves it almost as much as Maggie does. She also loves this Santa Claus that plays "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." I won't mention that he is a farting Santa Claus. Oops. I guess I just did mention that. He was a prize from a White Elephant party 3 years ago. When he breaks I won't be sad about it.

Here are some of my Santas and Christmas Trees. I just love trees. I'm always on the look out for new or unusual ones for my collection.

I love having this bannister to decorate. I think it turned out quite lovely. And yes, I did sing "Silver and Gold" from Rudolph while I was hanging the ornaments on it.

Here's the tree, train, and be-treed bookcase

The boys' first Christmas ornament. I know technically they shouldn't have to share their first ornament, but it's two peas in a pod. I loved the symbolism. Bonus: it will help us remember their first Halloween costumes as well.

A cool ornament from Grandma Williams. I am really missing her as I see the ornaments I inherited from her and some of the Christmas things my parents have from her as well. I keep picturing her in her home with her pretty little Christmas Tree and big "Bah Humbug" banner. Miss you Grandma-- at least you are home for Christmas.

A new ornament this year--purchased last week at the Beehive Bazaar. I love it. I'm very into glitter (well, I enjoy glitter when kindergartners aren't involved).

So cute and way to go on the decorations. The train around the tree is awesome! I LOVE THAT TWO PEAS ornament...but I am feeling that maybe, just maybe you should look for another one too. There may be some disputes around age 25 when they both want it. Heck, I want it and I am not a twin! ;-)

P.S. I need your new home address..can you email me yours (and Courtneys...and uh...Cam's?!?!) Don't worry..Joel emailed his today. Sorry...I didn't realize I had so many requests for you. Thank you!!!

P.P.S. Please, please tell me the black framing on the pictures is something you can do on Photoshop
7. Please!!! I love it and heard that maybe Santa (uhh..Ammon) will be bringing it for Christmas...I just did a photoshoot of a one year old and I would love to do that on there! It looks so neat on your pictures!

I LOVE your bannister!! I always wanted one like that so I could decorate it. :) I also love Grandma's ornament. I wonder who inherited the "Bah Humbug" sign--I'm jealous! ;)
