Light at the End of the Tunnel

I've never been one to think that an induced labor is a good idea. I've always thought it best just to let birth happen when the kid and the body were ready. But that was before I became a 205 pound Beluga Whale. On Thursday it was sweet music to my ears when my doctor said, "If you haven't had the boys already, we'll plan on inducing you the last week of July."

Hallelujah. 3 weeks.

Megan, Megan. You are NOT a Beluga Whale. This marine mammal is commonly referred to simply as the Beluga or Sea Canary due to its high pitched squeaks. It is up to 5 m (15 ft) in length and an unmistakable all white in color with a distinctive melon-shaped head.

You're definatley smaller than I was, at this point. And you look a lot better than I did! I gained a whopping 85 pounds. If you're ever feeling HUGE, just come look at my pictures when I was pregnant with the twins, You'll feel a whole lot better about yourself. I for sure was a beached whale.

I'm excited that your boys will be here so soon! Can't wait to see them.

You are too hard on yourself!! LOL! You are amazingly beautiful and you are going to be a mom of three in three weeks!!! SO COOL!!! I am so excited for you and you are almost there. I can't wait to see pictures. I love these pregnancy pictures too Megan. You've got the poses down for sure! Maybe you should look into modeling for Motherhood for the next three weeks! ;-) Your boys are going to think you looked awesome when you were pregnant with them! Hopefully you are enjoying some down time before it gets a little busier.

I was induced both times. There is definitely a time and place for it. Good luck and keep us posted on how it progresses!

PERFECT pic for this post!!!! I laughed so hard when I read it! The look on your face captures it all. Hooray for you though!!!!

How exciting....you'll have to post a play by play during labor for me....K? Not too much to ask is it? Oh, and post pictures too while you're at it, but only of the babies...be careful with the camera angle. Maybe Dan will have to help with all that. But I know you can handle it.

:)

I have always thought Beluga Whales were the cutest and most interesting of the whale family. I was absolutely fascinated by them at Sea World-so maybe being one isn't such a bad thing? Just saying. But seriously, you really do look great and how lucky that you were able to cook these babies for this long! Hooray for you!
