Ain't Nobody Done Told Me That
So today I was sitting at my biweekly non-stress test appointment at the hospital when another prego entered the facility. She too was expecting twins. She was large as well but not AS large as I have grown. She had a chatty friend with her, all I had with me was a young adult novel I checked out yesterday with my new Lehi Library Card (which I am very proud of). The prego announced to the nurse that she was 33 weeks along today. Her friend piped up, "33 weeks? Congratulations!"
And I thought to myself, "I'm 33 weeks AND 2 DAYS. Plus I'm way huger. Why don't you congratulate ME?"
But then I realized that's kind of a funny thing to congratulate somebody for. Regardless, it made me a little jealous. So, I decided I might need one of you to go along with me to my appointment next week so that I can tell the nurse how far along I am and you can shoot off some fireworks or do a cheer of some kind. Let me know what you'd do to congratulate me and I'll make my selection accordingly. Good luck to all contest entrants.

We have bottle rockets in our cupboard that have been sitting there for a few years. I have been looking for a reason to pull them out... I was also in PEP CLUB. I think that makes me more than qualified to be your cheering squad. I mean, who could be peppier than me?!
Well, this isn't a very fair contest as even if I did win which we all know I would I wouldn't be able to go with you so I'll just sit here on my ever growing back side and eat all of the food that I'd bring for the celebration because it is all about food. Any reason is a good reason to break out the quantities of to die for food...comes from being Jewish. You vant food? You come to right plaaaace! Bubba take a good care uv you no? You not go hungry vith Bubba.
Congratulations on the library card!!! I'm very proud of you! You know how I love them libraries.
I would totally pull out a red spandex unitard and do a lipsync all LaFawnda like to celebrate! You are so close to being done I can't beleive it. One of the nurses I work with has 3 year old twins and she absolutely loves it.
I wish nothing more that the best for you and your little guys! Give me a call if you need help with anything!
Love ya!
me me pick me pick me. I'll do a dance for sure.
by the way, I'm loving the sultry shots beth posted of you. You are the definition of sultry I think!
Oh wow. Maybe I'll invite all of you. Bottle Rockets, Pep Club Cheers, Food, Spandex, and a Dance!?
Hey. How's the sleeping going? I want to know if I should buy the book and use the method on Callie and Samantha -- though Samantha is getting better. But Callie used to sleep like an angel. Something has definitely changed.
Well whoever goes with you, there should be food and cheering. I can't believe how close you are!!! Everytime I look at the counter on your blog I am amazed how quickly it's going...for the rest of us:) Keep us posted, and enjoy the library card :)
First let me say that I would do something spectacular if only to get out of work for a few hours. I would bake a grand cake, that said "You did it, 34 weeks", then I would go on and on about how amazing and truly miraculous you were, the word "SUPER HUMAN" may even enter conversation. Also if you want me to I will dress up, only if you want me to
Megan! The dump truck/orange picture is so awesome!
I don't know you, but I stumbled upon your blog and I think it's fantastic. I'm pregnant with my
3rd, and I just enjoy hearing the tales of someone elses everyday life. You post the good and the bad. . . bless you. And, just so you know, I started coughing in the parking lot of Fry's the other day, which led to throwing up which led to peeing my pants. I grocery shopped anyway.
