So my darling friends Kim, Michelle, and Melanie, in our Woods Cross ward, threw me and my babies a shower. There are like 4 sets of twins in the ward so people around there know how much help it takes to raise them.
Anyway, they didn't just throw me a shower. They invited the whole Relief Society. And bring relief it did. Aptly named society, Sister Emma Smith--well done! 44 women were in attendance and not only did I receive a million adorable matching outfits, but we got a crib and a baby swing to boot. And some cash for diapers and a stroller. Amazing.
I guess double the babies brings double the blessings.

how sweet! I love the relief society.
Hooray! Way to go, ward! Lucky you, Meg!
You guys deserve every bit! I love the Relief Society too! YAY!
I can finally type with both hands! I'm so glad that things are coming together so well. I'm so happy for you! Your ward sounds amazing. I'm sure you are going to miss them.
I went to a baby show last night. I really love baby showers when they aren't for me. It's so what women are: social, eating, cooking, planning, decorating, giving, talking, baby growing, and did I mention talking creatures. Great fun, and great blessings all around!
Oh I am so excited for you!! What a wonderful blessing that was and a relief for you a little bit too. I know the boys may be a lot of work (ok scratch that-will be a lot of work!!!!), but definately adorable too. Ethan's kindergarten teacher (I think I told you she had twin boys too) had her babies less than two months ago and she is at the school all the time now. She said it is different when it isn't your first. You are more confident and it is easier to get out. She said it definately wasn't as bad as she thought and the boys were so adorable in their double stroller. Just thought that you would like to know....kindergarten teachers with twin boys rock! ;-) So WILL YOU!
You definitely deserve it ALL! :)
hey Megan...I am so excited to see your blog...Dan told me about it, but I never took the time to look up up or anything! Awesome what the R.S. gave you, that is sweet, a crib? WOW! I would way flood too...what a relief that must be! SO I was wondering...are you just going to get a double stroller? Or are you getting a triple stroller? I love that I think of random stuff like that about other people, I am weird. And in answer to your question, no, he didnt get that fridge open by himself. My dear dear husband thought that he would let him play in there, it kept him quiet...although I didnt stop it, but I am also not the one that had to clean it up....bless Shon's heart!
