Okay, Ladies

Usually I don't feel like I have enough style to venture to tell others stylish things. But today I can't contain it.
  • I was watching the last 10 minutes of the Oprah show today while Mags napped. And the answer to my "how can I possibly pretend to clothe myself stylishly when I have $0 dollars to spend?" connundrum was solved:

Sarah Jessica Parker has designed some AMAZING clothes and the entire collection is priced at $19.98 OR LESS. Shoes, purses, jeans, suits, sweaters...the works. Now I don't know if they are made out of recycled paper or what...but it gave me hope. I told Dan we're going to check it out for my birthday. Granted I'll probably be well on my way through my transformation to a human whale by then (thanks to the linebacker I'm growing inside me) but hopefully I'll at least get some shoes out of it. The store can be found here.

  • Second great thing to share: Our dearest Linnea Belnap [world traveler, photographer, medical reference, and all around wonderful person] has launched this website for Morrocan Leather Purses. I have one (and love it)... but now I know I need at least 5 more. Maybe with the money (oh wait, what money? Dan..? Can I have a raise?) I save buying SJP's clothes I could afford a few.

SJP's clothes are sure cute and I can vouch to say that they are just as cute in real life....I have a coat from her line of clothing and love it. Good taste!

oh how fun! I heard something about that new SJP line last week and I've been meaning to head out and check it out. So now I have to--and how cool about the purses, thanks for the heads up, I had no idea.
And about the money part...boy you and I are in the same boat! :)

Megan,
My neighbor across the street (with a five year old, and twin two year old girls I might add), loves these clothes! The store is 45 minutes from here, so I can't go and check it out unless we plan a little road trip but her husband loves it too. She found a ton of kaki (oh I can't remember how to spell it!) pants for her husband and she has gone there three times for herself and for $100 she comes back with shirts, shoes and pants. I want to check it out too! Her clothes really are cute!

That is great because I get all my clothes at walmart and that has its problem=, not as cute and not made very well. So I will be excited to up grade. :0) But I did want to say you are very style'n!!!

Second--- you guys are the most creative people I know, do you want to start opening up your bed and breakfast, especially when the jacuzzi tub is ready :). I was so impressed with your creativity! I totally missed the Oprah show but I need to check out the website... nothing like a good deal!
