A Lot Can Change in a Year

Last year Maggie and the big guy in the red suit were the best of friends:

Not so this year:

You're right, that is quite the contrast! What will next year hold?? It was fun to see Maggie as a baby since I don't think I hardly saw any pictures of her when she was so little. Thank goodness for a blog!

Oh, poor Maggie! (or poor Santa?!) lol I can't believe another year has gone by already- I remember your Christmas card from last year when Maggie was just a few months old...she's so darn cute!

Hahhahha!! That is what I love and what I was talking about! That is why I think the Santa pictures are so great! I think this is our year for a good one...next year Karli will be 19 months...and let's just say, not such a good year. I love, love those pictures....fun way of displaying them too!

YEah. Max is with Maggie on that. none of that scary bearded man! And you'd think with Max he wouldn't be scared of beards, right?
And it's totally totally true, so much can change in a year that it can blow your mind if you think about it too hard!

I love it. I just have to compare Angeli and Bridger to see where Bridger was a year ago and to see where Angeli will be in a year. Its pretty crazy. funny cute pictures! I remembering thinking he was scary too when I was really little I just remember thinking my mom was a total crazy for wanting me sit on this weird looking man's lap.:0)

Genevieve didn't much like Santa either, but the picture wasn't near as good as yours is.

Ashlen did the same thing! Well she didn't quite freak out as much as Maggie but she was totally freaked out by the whole thing.

HEY GUESS WHAT????? I got your mom's way cool angel ornament last night at Kristen's party!!! Okay, so I didn't actually "win" it but if you whine really good and say you were going to put your beautiful daughter's face on it then it tugs at Kristen's heart strings and she finagles it from others and sneaks it to you! I love your photo's. You are good at this here bloggy thingy.

I can still rmember my parents taking us to Santa's village when I was about six. My little sister, coming face to face with Santa for the first time, absolutely FREAKED. Now, she'll never marry a man in a beard!

So funny! Seriously what is it about Santa that scares little kids? How could anyone be scared of a big fat man with white hair in a furry red suit--- okay maybe that does sound a litte scary :). PS Thanks for sitting by me at Enrichment- you are the BEST! I also loved the sweet thought on my doorstep... I feel bad we missed you guys.

Haha the exact same thing happened with Mason. He seemed fine enough standing in line, even a little intrigued...but as soon as I put him on Santa's lap...he screamed. I guess it's the age...:)
