I've been needing something to hang on my front door. The $8 bunch of fake forsythia branches I bought at Michael's last year just wasn't cutting it. So, I got some fabric scraps, a straw wreath, a glue gun, and some pins, and I ended up with this:
I just wrapped burlap strips around the wreath. Then I made some fabric flowers {here's a tutorial for making them} and secured them on the wreath with pins. I added 3 little orange felt scrapbook flowers, and tied a bow with a scrap of velour fabric. Its definitely not professional, but its quirky and I like it. It's just what the front door needed until my Christmas decor can take over.

I'm very impressed with your project. It really has some great autumn impact - and it's clever, which is no surprise. the flowers are awesome. Funky Farg - wish my brain had more fun in it. Maybe I can be more like you when I grow up.

Ah Megs! Or maybe I should start calling you Martha. It's awesome. You did a fantastic job and I wish I was there so I could steal it off your door and put it on mine.
