Acts of Service: 3

Thank You Coleman,

Tonight when I came home from church, after making caramel apples with the youth, you were so excited to see me. I don't think you've ever been that excited to see me. You squealed and yelled, "Mommy! Mommy home!" Then you jumped into my arms and gave me the biggest hug your little body could muster. It was the best thing ever. And I'd only been gone an hour.

I'm happy I get to be your mom.

Love,
Mommy

That's the pay-off. And Murphy still does this exact same thing. Char does too. And believe me, even that many years later, it still means as much.

I love-love-love this one!! As hard and absolutely draining as motherhood is, you get to mean everything in the whole world to someone. Priceless.
