I've Been Hit by a Twinado!

Don't know if you've noticed (please say you care enough to have noticed) but my posting has been sparse for a good while now. I have two reasons for that:

1. Coleman--who in the above picture is wearing my new Retro Red lipstick. No he didn't ask if he could borrow it.

2. William--who is pictured in the aftermath of what happens when you leave a child alone in a kitchen containing nestle quick and a large tub of cheeseballs, if only for a few minutes.

Oh man, I love these boys. Truly. But they are putting me through the wringer. They've managed to break a DVD player, 2 Stereos, 2 cameras, my laptop, and my willpower (I just ate a box of ginger cookies in one sitting from all the stress!) in the last 6 months. No shelf is too high. No lock too secure. And no child safety restraint too restrictive to limit their destructive powers.

Two and a half year old twins are not to be trifled with.

Stay tuned in the upcoming days as I try to restore my blog and my sanity to order and update you on the other goings on.

I'm scared.
Is that bin of cheese balls full of water? :)
Hang in there Megs. You are a great Mom.

Megs, we have noticed and we all missed you! Your boys are adorable and extreemly artistic--they must have got that from you. Boys are definitely their own breed and I have NO idea how you do it! I was shocked when you said you were cleaning you baseboards (how do you have time/desire?) YOU are a SAINT!

Noticed.

And non-creepy across-the-world *hugs* for the current phase and your optimism about it.

It's good to take pictures. You'll need evidence.

I'm glad it's "just" been the twins and that your family is alright. At least intact. Mostly! lol

Um, yes, I TOTALLY MISSED YOU!!! I have noticed your absence and have missed the daylights out of you. But didn't want to say anything because I assumed you were busy mom-ing. Which you were. I just didn't know lipstick, cheese balls, and Quik were involved (not to mention the electronics). Now I know. Sorry! Yes, I can imagine that 2 1/2-yr old twins are, say, not the easiest people to live with.

Those boys sure are cute so I guess it was worth sacrificing a little daily reading content (yeah, easy for me to say, I didn't have to clean it all up, right? :) ) Glad you're back!

This post made me laugh out loud. I had noticed you weren't posting, and it surely makes me nervous to think about two two-year-olds. I will most likely be calling you for your good advice on twin-survival.

Like father, like sons! You should swap stories with Grandma about all the things a toddler male child can break who doesn't know his own strength. Good thing they're so darn cute!
