This week I'm roughin' it in the wilderness with 30 girls from church. If I'm alive next week, I'll blog about it. Pray for Dan and the children. If Dan survives it, I'm sure he'll blog about it, too.
I always thought I'd end up being a girls' camp person. My memories of camp are still fresh and really, really dear to me. But I never got to go. I envy you. I remember Sister Jex and Sister Stoddard - and the day somebody ran underwear up the flagpole. And the night the raccoons came into our tent for the candy - Catherine woke up with one standing on her stomach, reaching up for the hanging stash. Now I know how dangerous that actually was, but then, it was only scary.
The girls you are going with now will remember you (without a doubt) when they are almost 60. Amazing. Magical. Mysterious.
I am actually jealous of you right now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE girls camp. I loved it when I was a girl. I loved it when I was a leader. I think I have been to girls camp something like 12 times, and still I never get tired of it.
Good luck to Dan, although I am really not all that worried about him. You married someone I consider a "REAL" man. Don't know if that makes any sense to you or not...

Good luck with camp!
Lucky girls that get you for a camp leader. Wish I could come with you--we had so much fun, didn't we?
Love you!! Good luck!!
OOh, good luck. (Camping... NOT my favorite thing!) I hope you have fun. You're bound to have more fun than I would, at least!! ha :)

Girls camp is the BEST! Have fun!!! Braid lots of hair, sing beautiful songs and promise me you won't cry at the Thank-tamony meeting.
Does that mean that all the work Dan is doing on the HS reunion is being done with 3 kids in tow? Wow, I'm even more amazed.
I miss girls' camp!
