So, a BYU Fan and a Utah Fan Get Hitched...

No, that's not a joke. It's my life. And here's the result:

I made these adorable shirts for the boys with freezer paper stencils. They didn't turn out to be my best quality work, but they're fun none-the-less. I came up with the phrase myself which pleased me with my cleverness.

The game was awesome, Max Hall ruining everything by spouting off his mouth afterwards was not awesome. That's all I'm saying about that and I wish you wouldn't say anything else about it either. Go Cougs!

What adorable shirts.

The only thing I can say about Max's comments is that he and his family let a year of frustration, bitterness, anger, you name it at how they were treated at last years game build up to that statement. Not the right thing to say, but I understand why, and if people look back in time many a Ute player has said the same thing in the past.

It doesn't make it right, and I think he will regret it in years to come. Just goes to show we need to think before we speak because it might come out to get you in the end. ;)

Honestly I don't think the previous Ute coach helped anything with how he would refer to BYU. (I did find it humorous but at the same time I wonder about respect and how can we show respect to an opponent if we refuse to say the name of the school.) I think it only fuels the fire more.

It is a sad state of affairs isn't it. I have been determined to try to cheer for Utah when they play anyone other than BYU. It is too bad that sports can bring out the worst in people. :)

I was lucky enough to see parts of the game, find out the final score, love BYU football, and have no idea that Max said anything at all until I read your blog. And I'm not going to look up to find out what happened. I'm happy in my ignorance. I LOVE the pictures of you guys at the game, and I can't get over the STUNNING ADORABLENESS of the shirts you made. Oh. My. Gosh. You are SO clever! I LOVELOVELOVE the shirts!
P.S. Go Cougs!! XOXO

Those shirts are about the best thing I've ever seen. And I'm so jealous that you got to go to the game. I would've loved SO much to be there.
And to be there with you and Dan would only make it that much more awesome.

And I was very disappointed with MAx Hall too. I mean how unsportsmanlike, seriously. It really took away from the win for me. :(

The shirts are AWESOME. And the way you mix religions in your house is impressive. No fair, though, opening a can of worms and not allowing anybody to throw them back at you. HA. Your husband looks pretty darn good in red.
