Well, friends, we've gone from this:
to this:
Because I found my girl in the bathroom, clutching a pair of scissors, filling the sink with this:
So, we had to go see one of these:
Now we've got a cute little girl with a cute little bob. We've got the scissors hidden away in a high place. And we got to donate 8 inches of hair to kids that really need it.
A lot of good came from that naughty little event. Just don't do it again, Maggie dear.

OH CURSES! both of my girls have done this. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING. I remember when it finally sank in with Laira and she asked " we can't just glue it back on?" No dear.. you cannot.
She is still super cute.
oh mags. at least she had a lot to begin with, and she's just as darn cute now as she was. But I would've been SO MAD.
Oh no! I swear every kid does this. I've seen much much worse though- kids that cut to the scalp. Still as cute as ever though.
It really is a cute new haircut! She's so darling anyway.
It turned out so cute!
Kirsten did that......except she laid the scissors flat against he scalp. She had to get a way short doo! What cute hair cutting place for kids! I want my hair cut there!!
It looks so cute!
I think the experience must have been worse for you than for me becuase, really, Maggie's hair was amazingly gorgeous.
In hindsight it was probably inevitable, but I'm still sad for you.
my niece cut her bangs completely OFF the night before her 1st day of school. Front & Center... yep.
Oh, no!! :( The up-side is that she is adorable and looks cute with the bob, too. (And it grows...)
My heart kind of hurts for you! She has a cute little bob, but as someone who always wants long hair but can't get it, this pains me.
Nice to know that the world continues in the same old way, generation after generation.
