1. Exercise
2. Reading good books
Despite the insanity, the repetitive tasks of housekeeping, and the toddler meltdowns, I've been making serious effort to do those 2 things on a daily basis. It's been 3 months and you know what--I feel happier and smarter and all around better. I'm still not skinnier. But I am happier.
That's all.

I am so there with you. I got a blessing the other day and that is what it told me to do with myself. Except it just talked about the scriptures but you know.
Good for you!! Happy is definitely the goal. I've come to that conclusion as well. Exercise doesn't actually make you skinny. It just makes you feel better.
I completely agree.
Want to read the novels I've written? When I move to Provo in 20 days I'll bring you a manuscript.
I used to hide behind my lunch in a little patch of sunshine and order everyone to stay alive and out of my hair for 15 minutes while I read something. It was an amazing vacation. Now, when I have all the time in the world, I only seem to run like crazy. But I think you is right.
