These two celebrated their 66th anniversary yesterday. Grandpa offered to take Grandma to Chuck-a-Rama (for a romantic dinner) but Grandma was too tired for the buffet. My cousin Becca made them a cake instead. [However, just the mention of Chuck-a-Rama had me thinking of scones and honey butter all day. And carrot cake. Love that carrot cake. And the Pot Roast...]
My favorite is that Grandpa still calls Grandma "Miss America." But I think she's got Miss America beat.

I love those two. I remember them as I first knew them. What a wonderful couple of people. And Chuck-a-Rama - I can only remember your mom turning her nose up at the thought of it - especially for a bridal luncheon. But us old people - we love that place. Hurrah for them 66 years. Whoa Nellie -
