Inspiration Please

I have this picture frame. I would post a picture of it but that would require that I go find it and take a picture of it and download it, then upload it. Too many steps. Anyway, its from IKEA and it has 5 openings for 5x7 pictures.

Well, it used to have some pictures in it and it use to be hanging up in our old house. But when we moved it just wasn't doing anything for me anymore.

Q. What do you do with home decor items that aren't doing it for you anymore?

A. Spray paint the heck out of them.

So, that's what I did. And now I have an orange picture frame with 5 openings for 5x7 pictures. But instead of pictures, I want to put something inspirational in it. See, {I'm into printing} with these awesome alphabet stamps I've got; However, I don't know what to print. I've been thinking about song lyrics or poetry or just words--something that makes you happy when you read it.

Please help! What should I write!?

Should we not go on in so great a cause?

Never, never, never give up. (Winston is my main historical man)

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

They said I was insane and I said they were insane and damn it--they outvoted me. (He was later hung.)

and kisses are a better fate than wisdom (e e cummings)

Hand in hand, with fairy grace,
Will we sing, and bless this place. (-William Shakespeare)

Oh the laugh of a child, so wild and so free,
Is the merriest sound in the world to me. (-Habel Athelwood)

Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable.

Bliss it was to be alive, but to be young was very heaven.

Sweet sprintime is my time is your time is our time

You walked into the party

Like you were walking onto a yacht

Your hat strategically dipped below one eye

Your scarf it was apricot

You had one eye in the mirror

As you watched yourself gavotte

And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner

They'd be your partner, and

You're so vain

You probably think this song is about you

You're so vain

I'll bet you think this song is about you

Don't you? Don't you?

(How's that for inspiration?)

I Love You
Not Only for what you are,
But what I am
When I am With You.

I Love you for drawing out
Into the light my beauty
That no one else had looked
Quite far enough to find
I love You

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Whenever I see your smiling face
I have to smile myself
Because I love you,
Yes I do!

What's new Pussycat?
Woah, woah, woah, oh!

Ain't no mountain high enough!

Come on baby light my fire.
(You got to admit that reading that makes you smile)

Think of me and soon I will be there. . .
You've got a friend.

In the sunshine of your love.

She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah!

All you need is LOVE!

I'll tell you somethin'. . .
I want to hold your hand.

I could go on and on but I'll stop now. Call me if you want more.

OK it's me again. Check out Aretha Franklin's "Baby, I Love You" for some really fun lyrics for your frame. I've had the best time this past hour going through my itunes collection. It's the best 440 songs on the planet.

Oh how about

Gimme All Your Lovin'
All your hugs and kisses too!

woops... I just realized I posted my suggestions for this on the "To Do" post...

I love all the quotes everybody has already suggested. My current favorite is on my blog right now: "To change one's life: Start immediately. Do it flamboyantly. No exceptions." ~William James

Lyrics to fun songs are great, too. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.

K, now I want one for my wall!

Post it when you're done, would you? I'd love to see it.

I like Andrea's collection. Me? I'd make quilt squares for each. Quit rectangles, I mean.
