Mamma Mia?

We finally redboxed it (and yes, rebox is a verb).

My only question is: Why them? They're nice people, but this is a musical (and musical they are not)...so, why them?

I thought that Meryl Streep did a great job. I didn't think that Pierce Bronson was a great singer, but for me, I thought that it was better because he wasn't. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit.

I saw this for the first time on Friday night. I liked Meryl Streep, but Pierce-seriously. When he sang SOS that did it for me. He looks like he's trying to sing like Kenny Rogers or someone. I totally agree!

Just an FYI Megs. Meryl Streeps early career was on broadway. Pierce Brosnan not so much. So I can see why they cast Meryl, Pierce I am still scratching my head over.

I redboxed it over Christmas and my question is, why this movie in general?

no thanks.

I totaly agree! I saw this about a week ago and fast forwarded through a lot of it. I couldn't take it! I saw this show on broadway and liked it well enough - not a ton, but the movie was over the top cheesy.

I don't know but I liked Meryl Streep's hair. When I'm as "old" as she is I hope I look half as great!

I liked it when I thought they were semi-mocking musicals but now that I found out they weren't....not so much...but I still own it :)

props to them for even singing...although Mr. Brosnan sounded like he was a bit constipated in that scene/song you have pictured no?
