I cried SO many times the year after I quit teaching. I just never realized how much a part of my identity it was..and that it had filled an emotional need in me. I think I need to keep teaching in some way for the rest of my life or else Joel will go crazy with my emotional needs being a bottomless pit. I'm starving. But not for the nasty octo-dog.
This is why I go crazy with my kids' birthday parties. Cute stuff is SO cute!! P.S. If you're bored, you can go back and see my comments to your old posts. Instead of commenting every day, I comment to 2 or 3 at a time! ;)
I love all the pictures of your boys and Maggie! So SO CUTE!!! Also- I totally love the idea of the hotdog! My mom always used to make us "butterflies" with our sandwiches and Mickey mouse pancakes- traditions that live on at this Baxter household! So glad we found eachothers blogs!!!
I miss teaching so much too. I am trying so hard to get off to a good start and not teach vicariously through my daughter's preschool teachers. Although, I admit, I did have to send in a REALLY cute book I had for Dinosaur Week. I lied and said Kenley really wanted to bring it.
