"I don't think Maggie needs more energy," he said.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Energy. You prayed that Maggie would have more energy."
"Shoot. I'd meant that for me."
But the Lord blessed her with energy anyway. The kid was up at 5:30 and was a tantrum throwing tornado all day. In fact, by 9 this morning, she'd so exhausted me that I piled the kids in the car and fled to my mother's.
What a day.

Wow, I'm duly warned. I'm going to be very careful next time. Yikes.
And maybe I'll add your energy level into my prayers along with mine!
Thank goodness for wonderful mothers. You can come drop the kiddies at my house next time, seriously! You don't even have to stay.
A good place to flee to. My kids have fled there themselves trying to get away from me!
Ash says she'll give you some purple or pink energy...she has it in bushels!
Wow, you guys do couple prayer? We manage that about once a week.
And I fall asleep praying all the time. Joel will nudge me awake and I'll quickly finish. Sad, huh? My consolation regarding that is that we SHOULD be tired at the end of the day, even though I mostly just feel frustrated about it.
