At a family gathering Sunday we decided to pit our photography and modeling skills against each other. Self portraits were taken and now it is up to you, gentle reader, to be the judge. Who's artistic prowess and kinesthetic awareness is supreme?

I think I'm qualified to be a judge in this contest, but DANG it is hard. I like the sultry look in Megan's eye. I really love the classic Cameron one eye closed look. I'm digging Beth's style, she's quite intense. Joel's face I've seen before many a time. It's awesome.
But I think Dan may win in my book.
It's his total abandon that takes it over the top--along with Maggie's unwitting contribution in the background.
So there you go, Dan's the winner in my book.
I respectfully disagree. While I can appreciate your belligerent sneer, Megan, and the nicely flared nostrils, I don't think you can beat Joel's. The slightly distorted proportions; the half-lidded eyes; the weak, smarmy smile. A clear winner. (Sorry, Beth. You're too good-lookin' for this contest.)
I secretly hate it when we do these contests. I'm insecure enough that I'd rather not try to look retarded. And can I just say how self-conscious I am about my "mustache?" Where's a good dermatologist when I need one?
I like them all, but Dan has Maggie in the background with food all over her face so I think he wins.

I had to go twice. First, I thought Joel. But then, Beth looks so dangerous. But I think I'm giving it to Cam. Reminds me of the time he ate that moth .. .
That's a tough choice. You all look pretty "special" to me. :) But, I think if I must choose I pick either Cam or Joel. :)
Megan I didn't know you had twins. How exciting. My sister has twins and she has mastered the art. She recommends doubleblessings.com And I KNOW SHE LOVED her twin nursing pilllow, letting them sleep and eat together and much much more. I am so excited I FOUND YOU. Let's get together for a wild session of rhythm and dance. Grapevine left, READY GO!
